About Lynn's Knitting
(click on thumbnail for larger image)
I did major marathon knitting at the end of 2009. I knit cabled socks for Ken (he expects a pair of handknit socks for Christmas every year); these were a charcoal gray -- much different from some of the wilder colors he's received in the past. I'm currently working on an aran laptop cover for Amanda. I made some lace mitts for my mom to wear to a tea at her college in the spring. And there were other projects that I can't remember right now.
I did a UFO inventory at the beginning of 2010 and found about 10 projects that needed attention. So far, I have finished the Swirl Shawl and something else that I can't remember. That has allowed to be get started on my Norwegian sweater. The Dale pattern I chose is Lake Placid 1980. I knitted the matching hat on February 6 to use as my gauge swatch. The hat is a little tight for me so I will make another one if I have any leftover yarn after the sweater is done.

Hockey socks aren't required to have horizontal
stripes!
On Facebook I mentioned a Christmas stocking
that was a grand prize winner at the South Carolina State Fair (probably
around the year 2000). Here's a pic:
